Mellor Nook is a small Residential Care Home for Elderly people situated on the Cheshire and Derbyshire borders in the Peak District.

Before anyone should consider a placement in a care home we strongly recommend you read the homes Inspection reports. You must be aware however not all inspectors have the same standards of inspection, if you are comparing one homes report with another be sure it was inspected by the same inspector. Some inspectors are a lot less stringent than others. This is based on experience of the system and is not the view of the C.S.C.I.
